Espyr Employee Assistance Program
If you or a loved one is experiencing mental health issues, there are several ways to find help through the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offered by Espyr. This program is available to all employees, including temporary and permanent employees. In addition, Pathways employees can access the program as well.
Espyr EAP
The Espyr employee assistance program provides confidential counseling and referral services to employees at no cost. The program includes a 24-hour toll-free number to help employees contact trained professionals and request services. The Espyr website also provides links to frequently asked questions. The Espyr employee assistance program has offices in almost every DOI location.
Espyr’s Employee Assistance Program also offers Tele-mental Health services. These services provide short-term assessment and counseling services to clients. The Espyr Tele-mental Health providers provide assessment and referrals to address common mental and emotional health issues and refer clients to appropriate resources. These services are free and confidential, so the program is available to KP employees and their dependents.
Telemental Health
Espyr, an industry leader in mental health solutions, is now offering telemental health services through its Employee Assistance Program. Through telephonic/video assessments, Espyr providers can provide counseling plans and direct referrals to appropriate resources. Clients typically present with situational issues such as life transitions and workplace interpersonal conflicts.
Espyr’s employee assistance program provides employees with access to certified mental health professionals who can provide help as needed. Scheduling counseling sessions can be a challenge in today’s fast-paced world. That’s why Espyr offers telemental health services to make the process of seeking help more convenient for employees.

The Employee Assistance Program is a joint labor-management program for New York State employees. Its mission is to enhance employee health and well-being and increase productivity and morale in the workplace. Its funding is provided by collective bargaining agreements between the State of New York and public employee unions. The Office of Employee Relations also contributes to the program.
